The Sound of Rain - Book Review (Fiction)

Sarah Loudin Thomas book, The Sound of Rainwas published by Bethany House, a division of Baker Publishers Group. In exchange for my honest opinion, I was given a free copy of this book to review.

If you love romance books like me, The Sound of Rain, is definitely a great book for you. It is a clean fiction romance book, that captures true love at it finest. Sarah Loudin Thomas does a great job, building up the characters in this book. The beginning chapter alone, has you guessing what happened and what will come next?

The story takes place in the mid 1900's and takes you down to the south. Where things happen differently back then and occasionally now. Sarah, captures the essence of how the home went and how the daughters were expected to behave. She also does a great job capturing your attention as she builds up the emotions behind each character. This was definitely a go to book at night, and I quickly finished it as it captured my attention and I had to know what was gonna happen next.
