You are Not Alone

This week sure has been a weary one in my household. Wyatt is sick again with his 3rd ear infection in 6 weeks which means he doesn't sleep, which leads to one tired, weary, and short fused mommy come morning. Yes, I know, coffee has been my dear friend lately and it seems that my creamer just won't last long enough anymore but I still have to get up and be a mom to a hyper, mommy take me outside, 2 year old; who just wants my undivided attention and doesn't understand why I'm a walking zombie. Mix all that in with a whiny infant which I know his poor ears are killing him, oh and did I mention it's tax season full force in my household, my cup has literally overflowed!!! But even among the craziness this week I have been constantly reminded that we are not alone. Yes, my weary sister and friend, you heard me right...YOU AREN'T ALONE.  You might feel like me, thinking that I'm gonna lose my marbles and be checked into a mental institute if I have to do one more dish, make one more snack, hear one more tantrum, you fill in the blank ... But hear me out God see's you, he hears those hail Mary prayers that we speak.

Throughout Psalm, the psalmist cries out to the Lord in his deepest, darkest moments and you know what, God listened to his cries for help! Psalm 145:18, God’s there, listening for all who pray, for all who pray and mean it.(The Message Bible). This has given me much encouragement this week. Along with 2 Corinthians 12:9a "But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (ESV) ... This verse specifically has been on replay in my head as I cry out to the Lord. The Lord keeps telling me, daughter you are weak and weary but I'm here to hold you up and help you through this. Along with the power of Christ, I have learned that the power of a tribe of sisters is stronger than just you alone. The Lord has place specific friends in my life to speak truth to one another when we are about to crumble and this has been a true blessing this week! The community of Christ is strong friends and most importantly our GOD is Stronger! Cry out to HIm and He will listen, even if it is a messy prayer and you are crumbling let him HELP!!! He is there my dear sisters and friends just open up and talk to Him.

  1. I love you sister!! God is speaking through you!

  2. You're amazing! I can hear your words as I read them and they are so inspiring. I feel blessed to know you and to be a part of your life and to have you as a part of mine.
